When you think of ceramic, there’s a good chance you think of basic shades like black, grey, or white, and that would be reasonable. After all, these have historically been the norm for this particular material. But then luxury Hublot replica watches has never been a brand to stick to the norm, which is why it’s been experimenting with bold ceramic colours ever since 2019, when it introduced an incredible red, followed by a stunning yellow piece in 2021. Despite this, nothing could have prepared us for the launch Hublot’s new Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic, which we’d argue is the brand’s boldest shade yet.

What do you do when you want to add a touch of luxury (well, maybe more than a touch) to a timepiece that was intended from its inception to stand up to the knocks and scrapes that come with everyday wear? If you’re Hublot, you naturally reach for a pot of Magic Gold.
This gold in question happens to be a patented and scratch-proof fusion of 24-karat gold and Hublot’s most high-tech ceramic, last deployed on the cheap fake Hublot Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold watches as worn by Jono Castano. Frankly, before Hublot did the heavy lifting to make it happen, it was widely accepted that a scratch-proof gold was an impossibility. As is often the case, Hublot didn’t like being told what can’t be done.
Here, the Magic Gold has been deployed to craft a pair of variations on the Square Bang, a timepiece that was initially brought to life with a titanium build. Now it’s been reimagined via these twin references, which retain the iconic signatures of that original vision: a solid square with rounded corners alongside a bezel punctuated with the six signature Big Bang screws.
